Government facility Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital is located in Gauteng and has more than 1 000 beds available to service the surrounding communities. With the need for more Isolation and ICU ward areas required as the hospital readies itself for the expected increase of Covid-19 patients, Ward 567 was identified to be upgraded. Located in Port Elizabeth, local government healthcare facility Livingstone Hospital recently separated an existing ward from their temporary Psychiatric Ward. The newly segregated ward required further work, six Surgical High Care Isolation Cubicles were created within the new area. Each cubicle was also fitted a Bedhead Service System, in the form of an HU10-01. Hutz Hospi-Tec managed the project, which was completed in a time frame of only 14 days....
